Astwell Mill gives you a warm and relaxed welcome, ideal for the holiday maker and for the business traveller. The Mill is set in 37 acres of peaceful rolling countryside grazed by sheep and includes a small spinney and 3 acres of mill pools.
Astwell Mill has been kept and is presented with a great deal of pride - which is reflected in the four star rating given to it by the English Tourism Council. One double ensuite room and one twin room are fully equipped for the modern day traveller. (Two offer views over the Astwell Mill lake).
Full English breakfast using locally sourced produce and our own free range eggs is included in the price. Early breakfasts for business travellers can easily be arranged.
We are happy to discuss discounts for longer stays and negotiate weekly rates for those on business staying on a regular basis.
Astwell Mill provides the ideal base for visiting many historic places, both National Trust and Private, or for exploring the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside and villages as well as the Cotswolds. Statford on Avon, Oxford are easily accessible and London can be reached by trains in approximately 75 minutes
For food, locally we boast Pubs & Restaurants to suit every taste and budget.
How to find us - From the North . From Towcester (head for Abthorpe,Wappenham and Helmdon) Astwell Mill is situated between the villages of Wappenham and Helmdon and is on the left 1mile from Wappenham
From South, East and West (Banbury, Brackley) head for Helmdon and Wappenham, Astwell Mill is situated between the villages of Helmdon and Wappenham and is on the right 1 mile from Helmdon.
