The suite overlooks our walled garden, the use of a pretty patio and, has its own entrance. It is completely private and internally comprises of a spacious lounge with a log burning stove on the ground floor and a super king-sized bedroom en-suite on the first floor.

The Dining Experience
We are passionate about food and, we believe that the dining experience is at the heart of every good home. Here at Ashfield House we are fortunate to be able to draw on the abundant supply of Yorkshire’s best produce.
We are able to use fresh local ingredients, delivered daily, in our classical country cooking. We have our own special recipes and change the menus daily. As our guest, you have a new taste experience each time you dine. We also believe that it is better to offer our guests a limited choice cooked fresh every time than an extensive menu which, by its very nature, means that most of the ingredients have been stored for a period of time. We also cater for guests with special dietary requirements; a little bit of notice does help.
Dinner is available every evening except Wednesdays at £36.00 per person. We have received various commendations from our guests, the AA, and, are also featured in the Michelin Guide. As you have to eat somewhere you might as well eat in one of the best available dining rooms in town. To ensure that we can meet your expectations please help us by pre-booking your meals.
A full English breakfast, including, homemade Yoghurt, Muesli, Granola and Marmalade, locally sourced bacon, dry cured to our specification, and our own recipe sausages, is served each morning.
The Wine List is a personal indulgence and has never been or will be a profit centre. We price our wines realistically, which gives us the opportunity to offer classical wines at very reasonable selling prices.

Hotel Policies:
All Tariffs are based on two people sharing and are inclusive of VAT at the current standard rate.
We have a minimum 2-night stay at weekends (3 nights on Bank holiday weekends). We are occasionally able to consider single weekend nights at short notice.
As we offer full dining facilities we prefer dinner bed and breakfast reservations at weekends. Dinner at Ashfield House is reputed to be one of the best dining experiences in the village and invite you to visit the menu example page on our website. Please note pre booking at the time of your reservation is essential. Should you not require dinner we do charge a premium for weekend accommodation.

Payment is by cash or credit/debit card please.
Cancellation Policy: 14 days is asked for on all reservations of 1 or 2 rooms. 28 days notice of cancellation is asked for on all reservations of 3 or more rooms and for all ‘Special Event Programmes’. A cancellation received after the agreed period of notice will be charged in full, if the room is not re-let. However, if the room is re-let, we reserve the right to make an administrative charge of £30.00 per room per night. Please ensure your travel insurance covers late cancellations in the UK.

GRASSINGTON, situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is the principal village of Upper Wharfedale and is a thriving Dale’s community. It is an excellent centre from which to explore the Dales, either on foot, by car or by bicycle.
The wonderful surrounding limestone countryside provides a natural habitat for a wide variety of flora and fauna, some of which are quite rare. Walks in the area are numerous and varied, from a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Wharfe to the strenuous ascent of Buckden Pike. The towns of Ilkley, Harrogate and York are within easy reach, and for those wishing to venture further it is possible to visit the Lake District from this area.
