The Ashburton Hotel is perfectly located just a few minutes level walk along the beautiful tree lined Valley Road to the South Bay and Spa Conference Centre, and also a similar distance to the Town Centre and the Stephen Joseph theatre. Our aim at the Ashburton Hotel is to offer the unrivalled combination of excellent value coupled with stunning business and holiday accommodation, our rates start from just £17.50 per person in the low season and £20.00 in the Mid & High season without any compromise in quality.
Throughout our public arrears we aim to capture the late Victorian charm during which period the Hotel was built and we have tastefully chosen many pieces of original artwork which are on display throughout the Hotel.
In our dining room we offer an extensive breakfast menu with a buffet selection of fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts and we serve to your table a choice of a Full English Breakfast and also lighter options as well as fresh local kippers, we always use the finest fresh local produce where possible.
WE HAVE A PRIVATE OFF STREET CARPARK OUR HOTEL IS 100% NO SMOKING AND WE ARE OPEN ALL YEAR

All of our rooms are all furnished with private en suite facilities, dressing table/work desk and leather tub chair.
Two of our double rooms have King Size beds one of which is our Four Poster room.
All of our rooms have freeview flatscreen television, DVD Player, free WiFi, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, fresh towels, radio alarm clock and tea & coffee tray.

Once checked in you will have a key for unrestricted access.
Children under 2 are free of charge.
We have a 7 day cancelation policy, if you choose to cancel within 7 days of your day of arrival you will be charged for any night we cant re-sell your room.

Directions:
BY CAR.
When entering Scarborough from either side you will see signs for the South Bay and Spa Conference Centre, follow these signs which will bring you onto Valley Road which is the main road that comes off the southern end of the South Bay. When you come onto Valley Road we are located in 100 meters down the road on the left hand side.
FROM THE TRAIN STATION.
Turn right at the traffic lights and walk towards Valley Bridge, just before the bridge you will see a pathway under a arch that says "Plantation" take this path which takes you down the hill and under Valley bridge and onto Valley Road, from here turn right onto Valley Road away from the sea and we are 200 meters on the right.
It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from the Station, if you have heavy luggage a taxi outside the station will be around £4.00
