Location was perfect, literally minutes away from Brighton pier and lots of shops, pubs and clubs. Room was nice and spacious, with a very comfy bed, nice and clean which after a long day travelling was much appreciated! TV was very handy too. Left my mobile in the room only yesterday and after calling up the hotel had it shipped to me today.

Friendly staff, cosy comfy room, I guess very good insolation as we didn't hear any outside noise. Also, the basket filled up with fruit and cereal bars are a very nice gesture.

The convenient location of this guest house made it very easy to explore Brighton, our room was really lovely, bright and comfy. I really enjoyed the breakfast basket provided by the guest house, and the fact that it was restocked every day was a bonus! The owner was lovely - knew who I was when checking in which was great - even remembered where I was flying in from! Didn't hear any noise from other guests which was great too!

We were arriving late after finishing work at 5 pm and having a 250 mile journey and were worried that it wouldn't be possible to get there until really late. The owner said not to worry and that it would be ok for a late book in which made the journey down much more relaxed and enjoyable with no pressure to rush. A perect start to a fabulous weekend!

A large bed, in a bright, spacious room, with a view of the sea -- what's not to like? Especially when the room and in-suite bath are very clean, reasonably priced, and in a great location. The owners live downstairs and clearly take good care of the building. Although not chatty, they were thoughtful and helpful. There's no included breakfast, but the in-room fruit and cereal bar basket is just as good as far as we're concerned -- especially since you don't have to wake up early for it. The location is stellar -- one end of the block is the boardwalk and the sea, and the other end of the block is St. James street with cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier are within a couple of blocks, too. When it was nice, we sat on the beach. When it was raining, we sat in a cafe. We also spent a lot of time in our room, because it was just so lovely, plus there was fast, reliable, free WiFi. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Aquarium Gue

Our room was lovely and we were happy with that, however the breakfast basket was very disappointing, totally lacking in imagination. Two bananas, two apples, two satsumas and a couple of cake bars, rather boring when you are staying for longer than a couple of nights!

Nice ambience in this guest house. Only a few other bedrooms so relaxed and rooms were of high spec with large comfy bed. Owners very welcoming and restaurants/beach/shops on your doorstep. Wifi worked well also and we downloaded the book for sale - 'Zen and a Diary of a B&B Owner' - whilst there for a special intro price of just 86p! Written by the owner who still runs the place and a good read so far. Would recommend the guest house and the book.

Bed and Book! Excellent guest house and a book, 'Zen and the Diary of a B&B Owner', available to buy from the friendly and welcoming owner. Couldn't fault the rooms or location and a good few laughs as well reading the book - worth a buy for £6.
