Americana Hotel
The Americana Hotel is centrally located and thanks to our close proximity to Baker Street Underground Station guests staying at this 3 star B&B Hotel have easy access to London's business district and its many tourist attractions and theatres. The Americana Hotel has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and our staff is available 24 hours per day to take care of your detailed requirements and maintain a safe environment during your stay.

All the bedrooms have a comfortable modern look and all the bathrooms have private showers. We also have comfortable lounge area on the ground floor where complimentary fresh ground coffee, hot chocolate and fresh brewed tea are available throughout the day.

Guests are welcome to bring young children to the hotel but we DO NOT provide cots (cribs) or highchairs - there is no charge for a young child who is sharing your room - they are welcome to take breakfast with you and we have a microwave oven to heat your food and bottles.

There is a lift and we also have rooms on the ground floor with easy access to the main entrance.

The area south of Regent's Park, incorporating the medieval village of Marylebone, boasts London's highest concentration of quality Georgian housing. Robert Harley, Earl of Oxford, developed it as London's borders shifted west in the 18th century. Terraces by John Nash adorn the southern edge of Regent's Park, the busiest of the royal parks, while to its northwest lies St. John's Wood, a smart inner suburb.

I found the hotel to be very clean and my room was bright and spacious. To my delight the TV had subtitles available (which I need) but I did miss the facilities of a kettle in the room. The breakfast was very basic as well but I was only staying two nights and there were plenty of cafes around.

The Americana Hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Regents Park, where London Zoo is located and the Open Air Theatre plays in the summer months, and the multitude of shopping opportunities in Oxford Street.
