Our large town house has recently been modernised to retain character whilst providing modern facilities. All rooms have central heating, radio, colour tv & hospitality trays. We have twins, doubles, single and a family room with the majority being en-suite. A delightful dining room and comfortable lounge complete the accommodation to the Visit Britain 3 Diamond standard, some private parking is available. This unspoilt corner of North East England is an excellent stopping off point for those taking the scenic route to Scotland or the North of England. Situated between the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorks Moors National Park provides an ideal touring holiday centre. On offer are heather clad moors & rolling hills of Herriot Country picturesque market towns and remote moorland villages, well within easy reach of the splendid Yorkshire Coast line.
We are located within a few minutes walk from the town centre and the railway station which is on the East Coast main line from London Kings Cross to York, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Motorists using the A1 & A19 trunk roads should leave at the junctions for the A684. Teesside Airport is half hour by road and Leeds and Newcastle Airports about an hour.
