Alpenrose
Alpenrose is a fully centrally heated detached family villa set amongst the hills at the north end of the village of Kilbirnie in a peaceful position with far reaching unrestricted views of the North Ayrshire Countryside and hills. Lovely walks along country lanes; Garnock riverbank and hill walking tracks are within very easy access via our back garden gate.We are also within easy reach of the Clyde River coast, Loch Lomond, "Robert Burns Country" places of interest and the islands of Arran, Cumbrae, and Bute. Guests invariably refer to Alpenrose as a real home-from-home and indeed everything is done for our guests to ensure this is so. It is worth noting that many wonderful river Clyde cruises, on the historic Paddle Steamer "Waverley" can be joined at Largs, which is only a 12 minutes drive from Alpenrose.

Our double bedroom, a principle feature being a king-size bed. The room is equipped with a 22" coloured television, hospitality tray (which includes varieties of tea, coffee, shortbread/biscuits), radio alarm clock, phone extensions and hair dryer. Our twin room, a feature of this room is the panoramic view of the rural countryside and the river Garnock from the room's window. The room is equipped with a 14" colour television, video recorder, hospitality tray (which includes varieties of tea/coffee/shortbread biscuits), radio, phone extension, and hair dryers. And our single room. The room is equipped with a 14" colour television, hospitality tray (which includes varieties of tea/coffee, biscuits/shortbread, radio, and hairdryer.

Very nice setting although in a normal housing subdivision it was at the very end of the estate. This did make it a bit difficult to find however, so make sure you kave some directions or map. Very nice caring hosts, and would recommend them.
