We stayed in many B & B's in U.K. and found Bob and Clare the most hospitable of the proprieters. Nothing was to much trouble from information about York to eating establishments

Only stayed for one night as we were at a wedding close by. Staff were very accomodating regarding our checking time etc as we were unsure of timing of the wedding and meal etc. Once checked in we were free to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was lovely and well presented in the dinning room. Pleantly to choose from and even provided something not on the menu when requested. Room was clean and tidy (including bathroom). All in all good stay, would recommend.
