Academy House
Academy House is the only five star luxury bed and breakfast accommodation on Scotlands Banffshire Coast.

Located in Fordyce and dating from the early Victorian period, the property was originally constructed as a school and school house.

Following the closure of the senior school in 1963 the house was purchased and refurbished in 1977 by the present owners, Sandra and Richard Leith.

By combining traditional comfort with modern day luxury, Academy House has maintained its Visit Scotland award of 5 stars since 2003.

lovely place, i wouldn't call it luxury though. Rooms were clean but basic. Very over priced for what it is.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our double room was beautiful and the food delicious. Sandra and Richard made us very welcome and we will definitely be coming back to stay.
