We are quite literally situated above Bowness Bay, overlooking the lake and the popular, bustling village of Bownes-on-Windermere, which nestle picturesquely on the shores of Lake Windermere, and which can be rightly described as the jewel in the crown of the Lake District National Park.
The hustle and bustle of this energetic community reflects its status as the premier place to visit in Cumbria in the majority of tourist itineries. We are a small but far from ordinary B&B set in a modern, detached house occupying a uniquely elevated position enjoying superb panoramas of the surrounding area.
