“The best b & b ever A wonderful wonderful place. We were made so welcome and were provided with coffee and cake on arrival. The accommodation was to an excellent standard and very peaceful - it was like staying in a luxury hotel. The decor is to be admired. Breakfast was superb. (Apricot compote a favourite of ours). Bernie helped us with very good directions to enable us to visit a local lady. Bernie's a wonderful hostess. We only stayed 2 nights - wished it was longer. We hope to be back one day.

entirely worthy of 1st place This establishment merits its 5 out of 5 rating. The B&B is located a convenient distance from Enniskillen, and is well signposted. The welcome is very warm. The room was spacious (ensuite), well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and generous. It really was all you could hope for in a B&B, and we would go back again without hesitation.

“Beautiful setting and such a warm welcome We arrived to be greeted by Bernie with tea and homemade cookies straight from the oven. The house is beautiful, clean with lovely gardens. Our room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Ideally situated for touring the west side of Northern Ireland. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. If you are lucky enough to be in this part of the country would recommend to anyone. One of the best guest houses we have ever stayed in.

Simply perfect Upon our arrival we were shown to our room, which was clean and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom of the highest standards, then the excellent sitting room for guests to use. Bernie & Gerry are charming and friendly hosts, whose local knowledge made our stay even better. Breakfast is hearty and excellently cooked and presented using local produce. We would have no hesitation to stay here again, and consider a stay here a must when travelling in this area.

Tranquil Ulster We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Our host Bernie could not have been more helpful about the guesthouse and recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat out. The surroundings are very tranquil with mountains all around the farmhouse close to Enniskillen and the lakes. The en suite bathroom was a welcome after a day of walking round the Ulster American museum. Breakfast was amazing, traditional irish of course, to set us up for the day

“Hospitality at it's best!” Bernie & Gerry made us extremely welcome in their lovely home on a working dairy farm. Very comfortable rooms with ensuite. Ours overlooked the milking shed! We watched the girls come in twice a day to be milked. Bernie was a gracious and generous host and we enjoyed out time there enormously.

“Most sumptuous of all the places that we stayed” The farm was in the country, minutes away from Enniskillen downtown. The house was lovely, well kept, and extremely stylish. Our room was huge, really clean, lovingly decorated and had a wonderful view of the beautiful gardens. The bathroom was clean and large. There was a spa robe available as well. The bed was not only large, comfortable but a high thread count in the sheets. We slept very very well. Bernie was a gracious host and she was a truely amazing cook. Our breakfast was the best we had on the trip. So so yummy. There was everything to pick from, cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, breads, coffee and tea. Would we stay there again, yes. She gave us a recommendation to eat at Merlot in downtown Enniskillen...and it was really great food

Abocurragh changed my opinion of B&B's !!!” My girlfriend booked for us to spend 3 nights, whilst visiting Northern Ireland to attend a friends wedding in Enniskillen. On arrival, we were warmly welcome and offered a nice cup of tea and then given keys to Room 3. The house is very nicely decorated and has a nice warm feel to it. Bedroom is really cosy, clean and has all facilities which I would normally only expect in a hotel, I guess. All modern facilities, including flat screen tv, radio, docking station for an mp3 player. Location is great, just half-way between Enniskillen and Belcoo. Breakfast was fantastic, very nicely presented too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

“This was the best of the best B&B's” Date of review: Nov 30, 2010 During our recent (14) day trip to Ireland (Ireland and Northern ireland) we dicided to stay in B&B's exclusively and we were not dissappointed in the one's we chose including our stay with Gerry and Bernie at the Abocurragh Farmhouse B&B. We arrived at the Abocurragh Farmhouse after a drive from Galway and took a long walk along the country... more

“Lovely B&B in rural area, great breakfast & views, recommended!” We only stayed one night, just a pity it wasn't longer. We had thought of booking a hotel in the area as a treat but with it being the season of Christmas dinners and parties we wanted to avoid the noise so we ended up looking for a B&B. What we found was a B&B that provided a comfortable and well appointed room and a breakfast that any hotel would be find hard to match. The overall decor was lovely and can be seen in the photos that others have uploaded.
