Aberdour Hotel
We are a friendly, family-run hotel situated in one of the most picturesque villages in Fife. Aberdour is on the north shore of the Firth of Forth River only 30 minutes from Edinburgh by road/rail.

In the days before railways and the motor car the Aberdour Hotel was a staging-post for stage coaches and so has a courtyard and stable block. The courtyard is now our car park and the stable block has been converted into five bedrooms, two at ground level affording wheelchair access from the car park.

Although our buildings date back to the 17th century, all sixteen bedrooms have en-suite facilities, tea/coffee makers, television, direct-dial telephones and have been recently refurbished to a high standard.

There is a choice of Real Ale on tap in our Bar which, once again, has been included in this years "Camra" Good Beer Guide. The coal fire is welcomed by regulars and visitors alike.

Our popular Restaurant uses fresh, locally supplied Scottish produce where possible. The Head Chef Roy Simpson offers a high quality dining experience at competitive prices. He has a daily 'specials board' along side our menu offering items such as, Lobster (caught locally), Venison, Monkfish, Scallops, Mussels etc.

Most of our wines are available by small or large glass as well as by the bottle.
