Our house is a stone built Victorian building retaining some of its original character and providing excellent facilities at an affordable rate with full English breakfast. We have single, double, twin and family rooms, all furnished and decorated to a high standard.

We are situated in the heart of Ambleside, surrounded by dramatic scenery and just a minutes walk away from the town's many eating places, pubs, shops and other amenities.

We know the Lake District well and will be pleased to help you to make the most of your holiday in our beautiful area.

we had a great time at 3 Cambridge Villas, the food was wonderful and our hostess was really nice- she suggested a lovely walk for us and we had a lot of fun

There are many fine walks and cycle routes available on all levels right from our door. We can help you to plan your walk/ride.
Lake Windermere is a 15 minute stroll away for boat trips or just to enjoy the stunning views.
Our town has many interesting shops, eating places, pubs, and 3 cinemas. Tennis, bowls, and putting, are right on our doorstep.
Bus stop to all areas at the rear of the house .
