Gunten is a beautiful Swiss village lying at an altitude of 1854 feet above sea level on the sunny side of the Lake of Thun. This excellent situation and the stable, mild lakeside climate make it the ideal resort for holidays in spring, summer and autumn.
The SEEHOTEL HIRSCHEN (110 beds), leading first-class hotel with every comfort,lies amid some of the most beautiful scenery in Switzerland. Ever since it was first established, it has had a tradition of family ownership going back for more than 270 years. Its beautiful sunny and quiet position directly on the lake offers the guest unforgettable open views over the panorama of the snow-capped Alps. Beautifully-appointed rooms create a happy and friendly atmosphere in the hotel. Most of the bedrooms have south-facing balconies and all are with private bathroom (bathtub or shower), TV, radio and telephone and W-Lan. A particularly refined French and Swiss kitchen and a cellar of noble wines cater for the most epicurean tastes. For rest and relaxation there is a private bathing beach, a lawn for sunbathing, heatable terraces overlooking the lake and the lovely hotel garden.
