With its 28 rooms, the hotel Astoria is located in a central and quiet area. You will get in 3 minutes walking distance to the Thermal Spa’s Burgerbad, Alpentherme and the REHA “clinic for rheumatism treatments”. You will get also in 5 minutes walking distance to the cable car Torrent and in 20 minutes to the cable car Gemmi.
The Hotel Astoria is made with a personalized atmosphere. It is suited for people who enjoys the central and quiet location and likes sports. Leukerbad offers many possibilities to remain in healthy shape i.e. short and longer hikes, guided mountains hikes, fixed-rope climbing route, Helsana walking trails, mountain bikes, giant scooters, paragliding, in-/outdoor tennis, minigolf, squash, badminton, spinning (indoor cycling), indoor climbing wall, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledge and snow-tubing, huskies sleigh etc.

High praise for this modest well run family hotel. Excellent food and the most attractive self service breakfast table I have ever experienced anywhere. Very helpful owners. Clean and very quiet yet within easy reach of everything.

Fabulous hotel for a family - large rooms, play area in the restaurant and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Only negative, the exterior of the hotel is quite ugly....

The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice personal touch to almost everything. Good value for money, clean, big rooms with great view of snowy mountains. Good food too :) Most importantly everyone can speak English too.

Leukerbad is the biggest thermal centre in Switzerland, located in the Valle del Dala (Dala is the river’s name) at 1411 metres above sea level. The thermal centre was already known in Ancient Roman time for its warm fonts with about 39 million litres of warm thermal waters running through indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Landmarks, nature, culture and traditions of the nearby villages will assure you a fantastic holiday in the region of Leuk; take time to discover all the jewels of this area.
