Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof – Interlaken

Situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps, there is the award winning hostel Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof. Originally established in 1998 an additional building was opened in 2009. The two buildings complement each other perfectly being a mix of traditional and new. With a very homely feel, guests have a variety of rooms and facilities available.

In the Chalet (the older of the two buildings) there are shared facilities. Individual private rooms with shower/toilet ensuite you find in the new building.
Whatever your choice, your accommodation comes with:
- free all you eat breakfast,
- free access to shared kitchens,
- free WIFI,
- free access to the local swimming pools and minigolf,
- free use of the public buses and
- free parking.

Our reception is open from 7:00-23:00 (7am-11 pm). The rooms are ready for check-in after 16:00 (4pm). If you arrive earlier you'll find free day lockers. Late arrivals are no problem - you'll find information in your confirmation e-mail. www.villa.ch

Credit card:
A valid credit card is required as guarantee. Nothing will be charged at this point.
No Show:
In case of a "no show" we'll charge the first night's rate on your card.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations and modifications are allowed up to 48 hours prior arrival without any costs. You can do this anytime online on www.villa.ch/res.

We accept children up to 15 years in private rooms only - not in shared dormitory rooms!

Children discounts:
6 - 15 years: 20%
2 - 5 years: 50%
Babies are free (without a bed)

Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof is in walking distance from both railway stations (about 10-15 minutes) in the centre of Interlaken at Hoehematte park.

From 'Interlaken West' station:
Turn left and follow the main street (Bahnhofstrasse) to the town center. At the roundabout (Postoffice) turn right and follow Centralstrasse. At the next intersection (hotels National & Savoy) turn left and follow Alpenstrasse along the park (large green called 'Hoehematte'). We are located just at the next roundabout.
Or take bus nr. 102 (direction 'Interlaken Ost - Ringgenberg') until stop 'Sonnenhof'.

The hotel is really good and I am going to reccomend to everyone who is going to stay in interlaken. It has laundry, internet, personal lockers and fully equipped kitchen facilities. I am totally satisfied with backpackers villa interlaken.
