Upeni B&B
Upeni B&B is located on a small holding (5 acres) at Kempton Park near the Johannesburg International Airport (now OR Tambo International Airport). It is a self contained facility with three bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen/dining area, and two bathroom areas each with toilet, shower and wash basins. The facility is within a fenced off area and is secure for vehicles, pets and own entertainment. We are a non-smoking facility, but smokers are free to smoke outside. A convenient stop over for connecting flights, or a comfortable, relaxed stay for any time. Enjoy the fresh air, birds, South African sunshine and peace of an out-of-the-city environment.

Located approximately 12km from the airport just off the main R21 highway to Pretoria. Turn off at the Pomona off ramp, go right over the highway and after 2km turn left into 5th Avenue. Upeni is Plot 35, just 50m up the road on the right hand side.

Our reasonable rates are SAR280 per person single and SAR250 per person sharing.

From Pretoria:
Take the R21 highway to Kempton Park and OR Tambo Airport
As you approach Kempton Park you will pass the off-ramps to Olifantsfontein and to Bronkhorstspruit
Turn off the highway at the R23 – Benoni/Kaalfontein off ramp
Turn left and go for 2km to the first traffic lights
Turn right into 3rd Road and after 300m turn right into 5th Avenue
The first driveway on the right is Upeni B&B Plot 35.

From OR Tambo International Airport:
Take the R21 highway towards Pretoria
You will pass the off-ramps to Kempton Park/Airfreight and to Atlas Road
Turn off the highway at the Pomona Road off-ramp
Turn right over the highway and go for 2km
You will see a farm dam on the right
Turn left into 5th Avenue
The first driveway on the right is Upeni B&B Plot 35.
(note that if you reach the traffic lights you have gone too far – turn back and go about 300m before turning right into 5th Avenue)

The operators went beyond the call to accommodate us and see to it we had a pleasant 5 days in the area. It felt more like visiting distant relatives than a B&B

My recent stay @ Upeni B&B was better than expected. A quiet secure place only about 10 min from the airport. they even gave transportation to and from the airport. My only my only problem in leaving this review is that more people will stay there and it will be booked the next time i want to stay.
