Bed & Breakfast "Die Seemeeue" is a cosy guesthouse with magnificent wide panorama views over the ocean and mountains. It is situated in Vermont, a quiet and peaceful area close to Hermanus (10 minutes drive to Hermanus centre and about 1 hour drive from Cape Town Airport)
We have safe off-street parking. We are close to beautiful beaches, cliff paths and nature reserves of unspoilt beauty; Vermont is a real walking paradise. No traffic noise here, only the sound of the ocean and the singing of birds
The accommodation is accredited; all rooms have private bathrooms en suite. Hermanus is a glorious seaside resort, with so much to offer. 110 Km east of Cape Town, situated on the South Coast. Hermanus offers the world's best place to view the whales ( July to December); it's an unforgettable and absolutely spectacular experience to see the biggest mammals in the world so nearby.
Boat-based sharkviewing and shark cage diving is also extremely exiting. To avoid disappointment you can let us do the bookings in advance for boat based whale watching and shark viewing / cage diving.
In the guesthouse you will find a pleasant lounge with TV games etc; we have bicycles to rent and laundry facilities and in our cosy little restaurant with wide views we serve breakfast and evening-dinners. On your request we come and collect you from the airport (100 km from Vermont) and we organize tours to wellknown and unknown places.
