Monte Dourado
Monte Dourado enjoys a privileged hill-top position overlooking the Carvoeiro beach and is within easy strolling distance of the village, recognized as one of the Algarve's most upmarket coastal destinations.

The resort, which benefits from a secluded location, consists of 109 luxury self-catering apartments, all equipped with satellite tv, telephone, radio, washing machines, modern kitchen facilities, security alarms and a daily maid service. Guests have the choice of 5 swimming pool areas for relaxation and there are two tennis courts on site.

The renowned Carvoeiro Tennis Club is only five minutes away and four of the Algarve's finest golf courses are within fifteen minutes drive. Our reception staff speak several languages and the resort, which is a 45 minute drive from Faro International Airport, has abundant parking facilities. Airport transfers are available upon request.

Our Apartments
We have 106 two-bedroomed, two-bathroom apartments (T2 ) and 3 three-bedroomed, three bathroom apartments (T3). All contain a living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, hall, drying area and covered balcony or terrace. Some have magnificent views down to the ocean/beach, others overlook the pools and gardens.

Check-in Times
Although we attempt to be as flexible as possible, we request our guests to check in from 16.00H and depart until 11.00H.

The location was great but there were broken tiles in the pool and one of our party badly cut her toe.Other guests around the pool said several children had cut their feet..we were very wary after that.The apartment needed updated.Shower in en-suite needed maintenance and the whole apartment wasn't very smart.I wouldn't stay at that apartment again.

we had a lovely stay at monte duarodo. it was our second time there, and our apartment was really nice. the only complaint we have is the terrible mattresses on all the beds - like sleeping on concrete. really really uncomfortable. we had to sleep on lilos to make it better.it was a shame really, as the rest of it was great.

carvoeiro is a very beautifull place with the old vishing village charm that portugal has to offer. the surrounding areas are a treasure cheast with many beautiful coves waiting to be discovered. its a grea base from which to explore the whole of the western algarve including the awesome west coast.

carvoeiro is a beautiful place that still has the charm and feel of the old portugal fishing villages. the surrounding area is amaizing with many secluded little coves to be found if you fancy some exploring. It;s a grea base from which to explore the many natural beauties that the algarve has to offer. Don't miss the western coast!

Generally pleased, we had a problem with change of towels which was rectified, our paperwork said daily maid service but in fact it was twice weekly, could not clear this up with reception.

it was our 3rd stay at Monte Dourado and we will return. the apartment was excellent, plenty of room and always clean (thanks to the friendly maids). the only problem was the constant barking of dogs on the complex, we actually witnessed a dog going for kids - twice (we reported this to reception). Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thank again
