Thornton Lodge is located at the beach resort of Mount Maunganui in the heart of the aptly named Bay of Plenty. The region is truly blessed by nature with one of New Zealand's kindest climates, unspoiled rain forests and some of the best sand beaches in Australasia.
A selection of Superking or Twin rooms with en suites and private balconies. Two luxurious Apartments, each with their own lounge and kitchen. Sky TV in every room (with video and DVD).
Restaurants, street side cafés and shopping are amongst the best in New Zealand, but with a relaxed style and pace. From the Mount Maunganui Hot Pools to the numerous natural hot springs throughout the region there is always somewhere for therapeutic relaxation.
