For walking enthusiasts we are three minutes walk from the track to take you to the Coastal Path and bush walks in the area. Mako Lodge has a Non Smoking Policy for all its accommodation. Minimum 2 nights booking. Visa, Mastercard and cash only accepted. Mako regrets the Lodge is not suitable for animals or children under the age of 11. Mako Lodge has some of the best views of the Bay of Islands as seen from our accommodation, garden and decks. We can offer you a tranquil experience with great walks nearby and abundant bird life in our garden yet we are only a five minute drive from Paihia and all its activities.

Mako Lodge offers the Bayview Suite and Kingfisher room at ground level. All rooms have sea views, bathrooms with large showers, refrigerators, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers, electric blankets, fans, electric radiators, table and chairs, TV/VCR and use of video library.

Guests have use of our spa pool which overlooks the Bay and use of complimentary beach umbrellas, beach towels, iron and ironing board. Laundry facilities available on request at a nominal charge. All prices quoted include GST and a complimentary generous continental breakfast.
