The original, historic construction has been carefully preserved during the restoration work to leave the original features intact.
The Baccetti family, owner of the Borgo, conducts its farming and tourism activities so as to valorise and safeguard the land which it loves deeply and respects but which it also firmly believes is a heritage to be shared with all those who want to discover peace and tranquillity, the genuine flavours of things and the beauty of art and nature.
Borgo Salvadonica stands on one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, with marvellous panoramic landscapes and numerous villages of medieval origin. Let your gaze wander and all around you’ll see the intense green of the surrounding countryside. The view of the splendid landscape framed by the typically Tuscan hills which you can enjoy from the Borgo is perfect, there’ll be nothing to disturb you and you’ll finally able to immerse yourself totally in the quiet and serenity of a holiday in the country, lulled by the gentle and calm surroundings.
Our guests are provided with accommodation in rooms or in small apartments with use of kitchen. Each lodging has its own characteristic features. The position, a particular layout, brick vault ceilings or extremely pleasant view make each lodging worth a visit. Each residential unit has its own private bathroom with shower and a direct phone. All the rooms are tidied and cleaned daily (except for Sunday) by our reliable and friendly staff. The bedrooms and apartments have been furnished with characterised classic Tuscan furniture, chosen with taste and passion.
In what was once the stable, a lavish buffet breakfast is served including fresh products and a wide range of carefully prepared sweet and savoury delicacies. From the homemade cakes to the bread, jams and cold meats typical of the area, cheeses, eggs, coffee, tea and fruit juices to ensure an extremely gentle awakening.
