THE CASTLE: Like a tiny gem set on the top of the hillside, the Relais rises before us, almost totally encompassing the little town that appears at the end of a pleasant road that winds its way across the lush green Umbrian countryside.

THE ROOMS : Going upstairs, you come to the rooms, with their wrought-iron balconies decked with bright red geraniums. The classic English Country has been done with a special eye to detail: each room has been given its own unique identity through splashes of colour and special touches such as the coordinated drapes, the table lamps, the upholstery, and even the names given to the rooms, such as “ Countess of Oxford”, “Isabelle Rubens”, “Duke of Buckingham”, “Duchess of Norfolk”. Here colour, charm and that warm welcoming, feeling are no less striking than the bright rays of the sunshine streaming through the window, almost seeming to intrude on this precious intimacy. The rooms have been prepared with the utmost care so that we can offer you an exclusive place to stay not only through our service, but also with the personal touch given to your surroundings. The Relais has 59 rooms, of which 3 are Suites and 16 are Deluxe Suites. We also have some communicating rooms and 2 rooms for handicapped guests. All rooms have independent air-conditioning, a minibar, satellite television and private safe.
