Ostello Archi Rossi, Florence

At the Ostello Archi Rossi you will feel Florence's artistic atmosphere from the original frescoes painted in the reception by local art students. The environment is warm and welcoming, and it is ideal for young people, families or small groups that wish to take short breaks in the heart of historic Florence.

The hostel is 3 minutes away from the Santa Maria Novella railway station, and it has rooms with 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 beds, with or without bathroom and disabled access. Services available include bar and restaurant, personal lockers with key, key for the room each guest, free internet, common room, TV room (with English movies) telephones, open air terrace, garden, laundry and sick-bay. There is a smoking area.

We will visit the political and religious centre of Florence. From Piazza Duomo, where we will admire the Romanesque Baptistery and the Cathedral with its enormous dome built by Brunelleschi, we will then move to Piazza Signoria dominated by the imposing fortress- palace of Palazzo Vecchio and worldwide famous for being an open-air museum of sculpture, full of statues by the most important artists of the Renaissance. Along the itinerary we will learn Florence's history from its palaces and churches such as Orsanmichele church, Palazzo Medici Riccardi and many others.
