IL VECCHIO LECCIO is the right place for those who want more than a standard holiday.
Staying at this country house restored from an original farmhouse of the 17° century is a full immersion experience into traditions, land and essence of tuscan way of life.
Located in the peacefull scenery of the Chianti hills cultivated in vineyards and olive groves, the house is so comfortable, quiet and welcoming that every guests feel like being at home even if far away from real one!
The owners (that live in the near village of Certaldo and are always at your disposal for any assistance) know the high value of a relaxing holiday and respect their guests privacy. Once you get the keys, the house would be at your disposal with all kind of facilities, from kitchen ones (oven, 4 rings stove, kettle, utensils..), to sat tv, bathroom towels and bed linen. Water and electricity consumptions are included in the rental price.
The building, a 2 floors portion of an authentic farmer's house, has its own private access and presents all the architectural features of the original old-style tuscan house (beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, stonewalls, etc...). A private parking lot and an exclusive garden area with private swimming pool are other amenities of the property. In the garden, barbecue, tables, chairs and deck-chairs scattered around to enjoy the tuscan sunlight.
APARTMENT "PAPAVERO" for 2+1 guests:
Is a unique apartment, so particular and romantic that is the ideal for couples or honeymooners. It has peculiar features as an original stonemanger and forged iron rings to tie animals, used in the past for the horse-breeding activity. It is composed by a double bedroom, a bathroom with W/C and shower/bathtub and 1 big kitchen opening to the garden by a french window, very practical for preparing meals and drinks to enjoy outside.
APARTMENT "LAVANDA" for 4+2 guests:
Is mostly at the first floor, with private entrance room by the garden level with a beautiful wrought-iron sofa bed in it. The apartment consists of 2 double rooms (one with 2 extra beds) each one with ensuite bathroom with W/C and shower, and 1 kitchen/dining room with traditional old fireplace, where farmers used to gather around after a hard day harvesting the fields.
IL VECCHIO LECCIO HOUSE for 9 people
The house can also be let together joyning the 2 apartments by a connecting door, so that can accommodate up to 9 people in total.
This is the ideal solution for friends and family parties.

- By car: follow the A1 either from north or south Italy, then exit at "Firenze Certosa". After the paytoll on the right follow for Siena and exit at "Poggibonsi nord" (5th exit). Keep following for "Certaldo" and then, on the way to "Tavarnelle Val di Pesa", to "Mugnano" on the left and then to "Bacio" on the right. Our property is up the small road by the red cowboy boot sign (it belongs to the private manège near our property) by the main street.
