Hotel Commercianti, Bologna

Situated by the Basilica of San Petronio, with an exceptional side view of the majestic Gothic cathedral it was the fist site of the “ Domus “ for the Commune of Bologna in the XII century: In the early 1998 it was completely renovated but the wooden structures and beams which have been brought to life give the building a typical medieval aspect . There are some very special rooms in the old tower, some with beautiful terraces facing the Gothic windows of San Petronio and Piazza Maggiore, some elegant.

Rooms and suites, some with "affresco" paintings, all with stylish furniture and equipped with every comfort; but above all, they offer unique and unforgettable views over the medieval town. For the welcoming atmosphere and the high quality service provided, the Art Hotel Commercianti has been awarded by the Italian Touring Club, the "2004 Italian Rooms" prize, reserved to just 4 hotels in Italy.
