The family-run Hotel Pension Helios located in a green area of the City, but with direct bus connection to the heart of Budapest. Our Hotel offers its guests comfortably furnished rooms (with twin or separate beds). Most of them have balcony affording marvelous view to Budapest City. For families or for long-term stay we offer newly furnished, sensibly priced, apartments

Owning to the location and the all day (0h - 24h) run public transport facilities at the hotel most of the famous monuments and buildings, thermal baths and other sights of Budapest can be easily reach.

The reception is open 24 hours a day for the convenience of our guests. We offer wide range of detailled information on theatres, concerts and all kinds of music programmes. Upon request we organize sightseeing tours, boat trips or other programmes for visiting Hungary's most popular sites.

Directions:

By car
From M1 or M7 highway: take the Gazdagrét exit. Turn left onto the overpass. At the end of the road turn right onto Budaörsi út. Take the first left at the traffic light onto Gazdagréti út. Turn right onto Törökbálinti út. Take the third street on your left (Lidérc köz). Then take the first street on the right (Lidérc utca) where you will see the hotel on your left.
From M3 highway: follow the Centrum sign on the overpass. When you arrive at Hungária krt, take the sixth street on the right (Thököly út). Proceed on Rákoczi út, Kossuth Lajos utca, Erzsébet híd, Hegyalja út, Érdi út, Törökbálinti út and Lidérc köz. Once in Lidérc köz take the first right, Lidérc utca, where you will find the hotel on your left.
From M5 highway: follow the signs for Lágymányosi híd. Then take Lágymányosi híd, Szerémi út, Galvani út, Andor utca, Egér út. Budaörsi út, Gazdagréti út, Törökbálinti út e Lidérc köz. Once in Lidérc köz take the first street on the right (Lidérc utca). The hotel Helios is on your left.

from Ferihegy 1 Airport through Budapest City:

Take the bus 200E to "Köbanya Kispest". Then take Metro line 3 to "Ferenciek tere". Take the bus 8 (the bus station will be in front of a SALAMANDER shop, the direction is "Gazdagréti tér") to "Oltvány köz". You have to get off at "Oltvány köz" stop. The "Lidérc köz" will be on your right. Go up "Lidérc köz" about 50 meters and take the first right which is "Lidérc utca". Helios Hotel Pension is at the end of the street. (Number 5/a.)

We spent a nice weekend in Helios Hotel. The surroundings were green and elegant and we can get only 15 minutes to the City Centre. The staff is nice and helpful. We enjoyed our trip in Budapest.

Nearby Attractions:

The property is just 10 minutes away from the city centre with public transportation. The renowned Gellért thermal baths, are also easily reachable with a 20-minute bus ride.

Not far from the hotel (around 300 metres walking distance), guests will find a small pub and two restaurants with high-quality Hungarian specialities (Sas Club and Barackos) where you will be able to sample the original goulash and other typical dishes.

We spent a nice weekend in Helios Hotel. The surroundings were green and elegant and we can get only 15 minutes to the City Centre. The staff is nice and helpful. We enjoyed our trip in Budapest.
