The Hotel Palace Berlin is one of the renowned hotels in the German capital and has an excellent reputation as Berlin’s private business and convention hotel. Located in the centre of the city between the Memorial Church, Kurfürstendamm and the KaDeWe department store, and just a few minutes from Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate, this luxury hotel provides its guests with outstanding service of unique quality and to high security standards, as well as all flexibility required.

The Hotel Palace Berlin, a "Leading Hotel of the World", has 282 rooms and suites, furnished and equipped with everything today’s traveller needs. The Presidential Suite is located on a floor where special security is in place.

The convention area provides our demanding guests with a total of 18 event rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology on an area of 2,400 square meters for conferences for up to 1,000 people and banquets for up to 700 people, including a ballroom with over five meters ceiling height.

The “first floor”, one of Germany’s finest restaurants, serves the light, aromatic classic cuisine of star chef Matthias Buchholz in a discreet atmosphere and stylish ambience. The gourmet restaurant has won a number of awards including a Michelin star and 18 Gault Millau points.

This was the first time that I visited this hotel, and had some hesitations. But now I can assure you that this is a good hotel situated in the shopping heart of Berlin. The service is very good and the price is acceptable. During my stay only one factor was negative - ongoing constructions around the hotel. But it not depends on the hotel and soon or late it will be finished. I surely recommend the hotel for those who like luxury style for an appropiate price.

I can only assume that the rest of the hotels in Berlin are perfect as this is rated 39th on Tripadvisor but i couldn't fault it at all, it could/should be the No.1 hotel in Berlin. Fanastic rooms, service, pool, bar, i could go on. There was nothing i could see to fault, and even the location was good, near the zoo and the S-Bahn. If you stay in Berlin, stay here, i can't believe you'll get better value for money or service. Tip: ask for a high floor, if you can afford it, and although the view from the front of the hotel is nice, the back of the hotel is very quiet

The Hotel Palace is a perfect choice for a luxuriuos stay in Berlin. It is located next to the Zoo Station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was a little bit small but excellent cleaned. The nice little gift present was a really good idea. The breakfast buffest offers a large quantity of food and beverages. It was wonderful!

“New Destination” I usually stayed in the Interconti in Berlin (last year 3 or 4 times). My stays are usually 7-10 days. Destiny had it that I couldn't book the InterConti all the way through in February. The hotel was sold out on the weekend of the Berlinale. Rather than switching hotels I decided for the Palace. As I am always careful with new hotels I booked a Deluxe Room which is comparable with the standard or superior rooms at the InterConti. While there were minor problems (mostly with Internetaccess) it was pleasant enough to try the Business Suite for my second leg of my March trip. The Business Suite is essentially equal to the InterConti Club rooms (in size). The 5 star rating is well deserved in every aspect. The staff is pleasant and friendly. Service is very good. The Palace definitely has won me over. A couple of minor issues: the TV in the business suite is way to far away from the bed. I suggestion is to put a second smaller TV on the little dresser w

“The hotel lived up to all previous highly recommended reviews” Date of review: Mar 30, 2011 The hotel was clean the staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was amazing and the swimming pool was a delight. The Zoo really is opposite and behind the bus tour starts behind the hotel. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant adjacent to the hotel who were happy to accommodated the fussy eater in our party. I wish we could have stayed longer.

“Super Location” We had a long weekend in Berlin shopping and just plain relaxing. The hotel in itself is not particularly spectacular, but has a super location if shopping is the thing. Similarly the room was nice but also nothing special for a hotel in this category. For instance we had problems getting the aircon to work properly and in the end had to open a window to have it sufficiently cold. That said, the staff is helpfull out of the ordinary - we arrived in Berlin without having anything planned but they helped us with big enthusiasm in getting something planned. All requests were answered without you in any way feeling awkward

i would not hesitate to suggest this hotel.. very good value and location. staff very corteous. lovely breakfast should i ever be back in berlin, this will be the hotel where i will stay once again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We upgraded to a deluxe room which I can recommend to have more space. Extremely good service both in reception and breakfast room.We did not try the restaurant but the concierge was very helpful to find a restaurant near the Komicher Opera and booked a table for us. The only thing I can ask for is higher temperature in the pool! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
