The Ecrin Hotel is located in the heart of Honfleur and has a wealth of history and authenticity. A place for relaxation in the centre of the town of Art, cradle of a master of impressionism: Eugène Boudin.

This former Norman manor house nested in the heart of a large park, houses a gigantic collection of unique objects. Each of the spacious room has has a hairdryer, Satellite tv, minibar, direct dial telephone and Internet connection. There is also a private and secured car park.

L'hôtel l'Ecrin se situe au centre du vieux Honfleur historique; berceau de l'impressionnisme. L'Hôtel se trouve dans le cadre somptueux d'une demeure du 18ème siècle.

L'Ecrin vous accueille dans son ancien manoir normand, avec ses chambres stylisées et son salon orné des souvenirs d'une riche époque certes révolue, mais toujours recherchée et appréciéE. Un espace de détente au coeur d'une ville d'Art, berceau d'un maître de l'impressionnisme: Eugène Boudin. Le soir venu, les chambres et suites du manoir laissent un parfum de romantisme empreint de nostalgie flotté dans une douce quiétude. Toutes nos chambres sont spacieuses et équipées de sèche-cheveux, TV Satellite, minibar, téléphone direct et connexion Internet.

Very quirky b & b. Parking is a problem as roads are very narrow. This b & b is about 5 minutes walk from Honfleur which is a lovely, bustling small town.

My wife and I went with another married couple for a 3 night short break. The hotel is an old manor house type establishment with period features and furnishings. The rooms with en-suite facilities were very good and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the price of breakfast is very high costing 11 Euros for a pot of coffee and a croissant.
