The family of Count Vivier de Châtelard lived in this manor ever since it was built.

The previous review seems to be writen about the wrong hotel. Because, the hotel du Parc never had a restaurant, being next to the pedestrian center. Hotel du parc Euromedecine, far from everything, seems to be the rignt hotel to deserve that review. Hotel du Parc is one of the best hotel in town, near to the center, and I tried a lot of them, before to find it

We reserved a twin room and were given a double and single bed, not a problem but might be for those who can't reach an amicable agreement over who takes which. The staff were friendly and helpful, and though the hotel advertises English speaking staff this wasn't the case when we needed it most. (See below). The room was small for two, but clean and comfortable. The 'shower' was a spray attachment off the tap on the half-bath, so a squatting shower was needed to avoid wetting everything. We arrived by tram and on foot, and were surprised to find no restaurants in the area, other than the hotel's own and a metal box half a mile away selling pizza slices and beer, with limited hours. You'll need to travel into town for a change from the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is offered in addition to the room hire, which seems a bit unfair given there's no alternative source of food nearby. An otherwise uneventful stay was marked by first the theft of a t-shirt from our room, which we did n
