We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The room was excellent and the bed enormous! Freddie, the owner was friendly and welcoming with plenty of good advice. Breakfast was superb and attention to detail was first rate. Not in the town center, but easy to get into Galway via regular buses and an ideal base from which to explore the area

“A heavenly experience” We were warmly welcomed by Fred who is a passionate and vibrant host. He immediately asked if we'd like to upgrade to a larger king room which we did. The room looked out over the bay and the beautiful hills that dot the countryside. There are 2 homes a very short walk from each other. Both are beautifully appointed and immaculate. The beds and pillows are heavenly. Breakfast offered every choice imaginable on a menu...that is really unique for a B & B. We even mixed and matched our breakfast items. The potatoes with bacon and herbs were so good. I was so sad to leave both the Galway area and the Sea Breeze Lodge. I bookmarked the Sea Breeze Lodge 2 years ago when I was looking into a holiday in Ireland. It was everything I had hoped. By the way, it is so convenient to take a tour when you are collected at the B & B and brought back (or to wherever you'd like!) Fred helped us with taxis, good places to eat, shows, river cruises and many other things. He is a

“Terrific B & B, Outstanding Service” We arrived at the B & B around 8:30 P.M. during a rainstorm. The owner, Freddy was very accommodating and gave us the last room he had. The room was very large and overlooked Galway Bay. Freddy carried our luggage upstairs and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were very comfortable. He chatted with us a while and gave us an excellent Italian restaurant recommendation. Later in the evening we ran into him at the restaurant. The next morning we had a terrific full Irish Breakfast. We stayed at numerous B & B's over 11 days but this was the only one that we felt like we made a friend and would like to come back to visit.

Seabreeze Lodge in Galway was a great stay for us. We used as our home base as we explored the West of Ireland. The room had plenty of space for all three of us and they were very welcoming. The breakfasts were outstanding and they happily accommodated my wife and daughter's needs for a gluten-free breakfast. They prepared yummy pastries and gluten free toast each morning! I highly recommend it.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at Sea Breeze Lodge in Galway and recommend this B&B to anyone. Both houses, Sea Breeze has two houses, are well keep and the breakfast is great. The location in Salthill is very close to Galway Bay and Galway City. The room we had was spacious and overlooked Galway Bay. The houses are right on Galway Bay and the city center is maybe a ten minute drive, even with traffic. Freddy and Michelle know all the restaurants and places to go in the area. Upon the recommendation of Freddy my wife and I ate at an excellent Italian restaurant in Salthill. The restaurant cooked pizza on a wood burning stove. Both Freddy and Michelle are very attentive to the needs of the people staying at Sea Breeze Lodge and want their guests to have a good time. The breakfast at Sea breeze lodge is superb. The actually breakfast room is nicely keep and has a glass enclosed area attached which is nice. For breakfast there was one item that I did not eat the first morning,

If you fly into Shannon and tour Ireland clockwise, this is the PERFECT PLACE to start your vacation (and easy to find). Location works best if you have a car -- it's at the edge of Salthill towards Connemara region. There is free parking on site. Excellent beds (and pillows), thick, luxurious towels, and a wide range of choice for breakfast. Rooms are nice sized, bathrooms have pedestal sinks without adjacent storage. Seaview rooms face a busy street. Be aware that tours booked through the B&B do not include admissions and may have additional transfer costs. Ask what is included. The proprietor is gracious and caring. You will fill welcome and you will be able to relax. Good base for day trips to islands, Connemara, Galway center, Burren, etc.

Without a doubt, the best breakfast we had in Scotland. The homemade goodies were prefect. Sightseeing tips we got were great. Michelle made our two night stay a memory to enjoy over and over. Freddy helped make one evening special for us. He had some tasty red wine for sale and we enjoyed cheese, bread, and fruit on the balcony as we watched the sun go down. Don't pass Sea Breeze by.

Fantastic B&B!! Wonderful staff, location and of course the food was outstanding. Listen to all of Freddie's suggestions and you can't go wrong. Best beds ever slept in, the view from room was amazing saw something new everyday with rainbows included! Conveniently located to everything and Freddie is amazing he gets you picked up and dropped back from tours and cabs all you have to do is enjoy! Best vacation we have had in 30+ years. Can't wait to go back!!

This was my first B&B, now all others I visit have to live up to this one. The hosts were great, very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were spacious with VERY comfortable beds. Food was very good, really enjoyed that and the room it was served in. They were a great help with a tour to the Aran Islands and just very helpful in general with any questions we had. Loved their dog Charlie, very polite well behaved dog :) I was there with my husband and 3 of his friends from work and our only wish was that they had a sitting room where we could have sat and talked together at night. We had to do that in one of our rooms. Other than that (not even a complaint) I would highly recommend a stay at the Sea-Breeze Lodge.
