Its just 5 minutes walk from the bus/train station and surrounded by the very best in shops, pubs, theatres and restaurants.

Both hostels offer high standard affordable accommodation is a choice of Twin/double and multi-bedded rooms. All rooms are en suite and a light breakfast is included in the price. Barnacles is the ideal base for budget travellers, and a perfect place to meet new friends and explore the cities at your leisure.

We have a variety of room types available from doubles, twins, 4 bedded, 6 bedded, 10 bedded and 12-bedded rooms. All rooms have a shower and w/c, bed linen is provided free of charge. Towels are available for hire at reception. We operate an electronic key cards system on all doors, ensuring that only our registered guests can gain access to the rooms and guests quarters, giving you increased security and peace of mind during your stay.

As many of our guests are travelling on tight budgets and need to prepare their own meals, we have paid particular attention in designing a bright fully equipped self-catering facility with all mod cons and there is a free light self-service breakfast available each morning.
