Nestled on two heavily-treed acres, relax at our unique hexagonal log cabin B&B overlooking Goudie Creek. Two rooms: Travellers Room has a two-piece ensuite (toilet and vanity), double bed and folding double sofa bed. Sunrise Room has a double bed. Both rooms have their own 19"" TV/VCR with satellite connection.
Extremely quiet location for a very relaxing getaway. We have a separate self-catering Log Cabin Chalet vacation rental built in 2000 - 2 floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, french doors to deck, woodstove, separate driveway access, 19"" TV/VCR with satellite connection, cassette/CD player. The Chalet is available for rental on a day or weekly basis.
Both the B&B and Chalet were constructed from trees felled on the property. The interiors of both homes have extensive wood surfaces in pine, cedar, douglas fir, spruce, hemlock fir, maple, and birch. We are a 5 minute walk from French Beach Provincial Park, Sooke, Vancouver Island. Roam the property on our walking/jogging nature trails frequented by deer. Quiet, peaceful, romantic rural setting away from highway and traffic.
Take one of our tours with Sooke Adventures - canoe tours, freshwater and saltwater fishing, hiking, cycling, biking,camping, wildlife/birdlife/old-growth trees viewing, marine tours. Novices and experienced welcome. Catering to individual and small groups. Lunch provided for all day tours; camping equipment and gourmet meals supplied on overnight tours.
