The Hartmann House is an artisan's cottage set in the middle of an acre of beautiful gardens and lily ponds. Ocean views offer romantic sunsets and private retreats. The Cottage Gardens at Hartmann House The secret garden embraces one with peace and beauty. Around each corner is a new vista, a visual delight, with fabulous ocean views overlooking Sooke Harbour. Romance is alive and well and blooming in Sooke- we roamed uphill through a glorious front yard filled with flower gardens and came upon an English country cottage- we knew we had found something special.
A romantic and luxurious self contained suite, with a king size canopied four poster bed, bath ensuite, oversized whirlpool tub for two, wood burning fireplace, kitchenette and french doors opening onto your own private verandah. Robes are provided.
Breakfast at Hartmann House is a gourmet culinary experience. The fresh garden fruits and herbs are a delightful addition to such dishes as shrimp omelets with artichokes, tomatoes and feta cheese or spiced rhubarb parfait and strawberry waffles.
