Greybeards Bed And Breakfast
Enjoy your full complimentary breakfast of juice, fresh fruit, 'coffee cake', tea or coffee, and a hot meal in our bright breakfast room and hear the sounds of the horse and buggy from Trot in Time as they pass by the window bringing visions of earlier days when schooners filled Lunenburg harbour.

Our house was built in 1887 for Captain William Howard Hebb (1863-1947) of Lunenburg. For twenty-five years Captain Hebb commanded Brigs and three-masted schooners to many ports of the world, having the reputation of being one of the leading deep sea captains of his day. In 1893, in command of the schooner "Zeta", Captain Hebb sailed to Holsteinsborg, Greenland with Dr. F. Cook and Robert Peary on one of their many trips to the Arctic Circle.
