This charming turn-of-the-century home is nestled in the heart of Nova Scotia in the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley. Only 30 minutes from Halifax International Airport; only 50 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia's capital city. Ideally situated in a picturesque village close to all amenities.
Next door to the Bicentennial Theatre, 1/2 km from the "Halifax County Exhibition Grounds" that hosts the Bluegrass Festival in early August and the Exhibition in mid-August. We are also on the route of the " 50 Mile Yard Sale" in early September. "Rally in the Valley" takes place late September or early October.
The Dollar Lake Provincial Park is only a 15 minute drive. The Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park at Shubenacadie is 20 minutes away, Shubenacadie River Rafting tours are just 30 minutes down the road. There is also a paint ball range, just a 5 minute drive. We are just an hour drive from 3 beautiful beaches - Lawrencetown Beach (surfing), Martinique Beach, and Clam Harbour Beach, which hosts the Clam Harbour Sand Castle Festival in early August.
