We actually stayed here for 3 nights back in November 2008 as part of our trip to Vancouver Island in celebration of our 30th anniversary. A very romantic room (we stayed in the Sawadee room) with double sided fireplace with jetted 2 person tub on one side and rest of the room on the other. I believe there are a total of 7 rooms to choose from -we are glad that we picked the room that we did. It was great! The 1st morning we woke early and watched as the sun came up (from bed), the birds obviously flying to where the tide was out so they could feed.. Sue recommended places for us to eat including a lovely place to dine - and even made the reservations for us that night. We very much enjoyed our time here. Drew and Sue made us feel very welcome. Sue prepared our daily gourmet breakfasts (of which I recently asked for and received her recipe for one of them so I could impress our guests for Christmas Day Brunch). Thanks Sue, it turned out WONDERFUL! Sue also made a special dessert ever

One of my friends and I stayed at a Snug Harbour Inn in November and absolutely LOVED it! We chose that time of year because we wanted to see the winter storms. However . . . there were no storms while we were there! I stayed in the Valhalla Room and slept with the windows open at night so I could hear the surf and the buoys - so incredibly soothing! It was chilly, but the heated bathroom floors were a treat, as well as the jetted tub and fireplace! Every morning Sue prepared an awesome breakfast, then we were on our way to enjoy the sights. Staying a little longer than most guests (6 nights) allowed us the pleasure of getting to know our hosts (Sue, Drew & Porsche) better. The day we checked out I cried because I didn't want to leave! This was one of the best vacations I've ever taken and would definitely stay here again. Awesome experience!

From the moment that we arrived at A snug Harbour Inn, we were in 'awe' of an amazing B & B with an exceptional location and view....Wow. We were given a thorough induction of the property by Sue (after meeting Drew and Porsche), which included places to eat and things to do for the couple of days we were in Ucluelet. No stone has been left unturned to make guests feel comfortable and at home. Lovely fresh cake each day, all day tea and coffee facilities, well sized rooms (we stayed in the Sawadee room), including bath robes, extra towels for the Hot tub, wine glasses and bottle openers, a good sized flat screen TV, a nice private patio off our room, really comfortable bed and quality linen to list a few features. A delicious, healthy breakfast is served each morning between 8am and 9 am in the guest dining area. We highly recommend A Snug Harbour Inn to any couples looking for luxury, privacy and relaxation and who expect professional, high standard service. We booke

This is our third time staying at A Snug Harbour Inn. It is located at Ucluelet, on the very far western side of Vancouver Island, right on the coast, overlooking the waves breaking on the rocks. The rooms are excellent, with fireplaces, jacuzzis, heated floors, very comfortable beds (and very quiet for extremely restful sleep), and there is a hot tub. The hosts, Sue and Drew, are hospitable and welcoming (they remembered us from previous visits), and are pleased to help arrange any sort of activity for guests. The breakfasts are imaginative and so plentiful that one might not need lunch. Ucluelet is located at the southern end of the Long Beach, with Tofino at the northern end. People come here for the beach (in the summer), watching the waves (particularly in the winter), whale watching, surfing, walking in the rain forest, going to artists' studios, and just plain "doing nothing and lots of it". There are bigger resorts in the area---but we very much prefer staying at A Snug Harbour

This was our 4th time here and we got to enjoy a new room...the Lighthouse Room. It was spectacular and you could see everything in the Bay from the top level. Great views, great breakfast, great snacks and great people. A fantastic get-away.

From the moment we pulled up the driveway and stepped through the front door, we were transported into and surrounded by nature in all it;s glory. The beautiful ocean, islands, pounding surf, fresh salt air, mature trees and the privacy they afforded, were a welcome respite from city life. The wild life, deer, eagles and other birds, large ocean otters, huge seals, and sea life, were a thrill to see. Didn't see any whales but, know they're out there. The Inn is a perfect fit in it's natural surroundings. It looks and feels like a beautifully maintained home. Every detail was taken care of ,right down to an oversized umbrella and binoculars. Breakfast was always delicious and beautifully presented, as were the homemade cakes and jams. Special care was given to the menu in order to accommodate our specific dietary needs. Our good size room with it's fireplace, comfortable king-size bed, good size bath, jetted tub for two and private deck, were a joy to return to at the end of a full day.
