The Schönruh Hotel is located just a 3 minute walk from the charming and picturesque village centre of Ehrwald in a sunny, quiet position at the bottom of the imposing Wetterstein massif with the highest mountain of Germany the Zugspitze. Embedded in the gentle, wide Ehrwald basin you are immediately struck by the gorgeous mountain szenery all around the Moosarea (basin).
For us and our dedicated team it is a great pleasure to spoil you and make your expectations of a holiday become reality. It is this love and dedication for our profession, which creates this cosy atmosphere in which everybody feels at home, enjoys their spare time and makes the most of every moment.
Our reception area - the meeting point any time of the day, here we also supply you with plenty of information about our hotel and the gorgeous village of Ehrwald as well as about the whole region around the majestic Zugpsitze.
In the afternoon we offer a buffet with cakes, strudels, soup, sport snack with muesli, joghurt etc - this is included in the half pension.price for our guests. There is nothing like a cushy coffee or teatime break in the afternoon.
Enjoy the delicious menues we create daily and not to forget a nice bottle of wine from our wine cellar to make the dinner a perfect event. Our restaurants are spacious and furnished beautifully.
In our cosy hotel bar you shall feel at home and what could be nicer than to let a lovely day in the Alps come to its end with a cocktail, or special nightcap in a friendly athmosphere. You shall always find someone to chat to and have fun with. We ourselves all speak English and our parents are from England and America - so we shall have lots of interaction.
