Woolly Butt Bungalow offers self-contained accommodation in Falmouth: between St Helens and Bicheno on Tasmania's east coast.

Woolly Butt is actually a native Tasmanian tree - Alpine ash and others. You'll find many examples of these on the premises, as well as a few other Woolly Butts as there is one of the East Coasts oldest sheep stations on the edge of town named Glen Coe. The bungalow is constructed of mud bricks and 100 year old timber and windows using old world construction methods and features skylights throughout. You will find a bird watching a real treat on the property as there is an abundance of wild life on the property.

Without a doubt Scamander has the best fish and chips on the coast, and if your feeling up to it you can take a leisurely stroll along our fabulous pristine white beach all the way there [approximately 75 minutes walk each way].
