Enjoy afternoon tea on arrival and relax in our dining room overlooking the ocean. Wake to a large country cooked breakfast. Spend the evening in the lounge or dining room reading or enjoying the company of other visitors or your hosts, Maxine and Graham.

Decorated in federation colours, there are currently five rooms in the house for guests. The front room 'Alice Rose' has a queen size and single bed and ensuite. The second room 'Lilly Emma' has a queen size bed and adjoining large bathroom. A spa room with sea views 'Mary Ellen' is available for two people. Upstairs, also with sea views, 'Amy Belle' has two bedrooms; one with one bathroom, two queen size beds and one single bed, making it suitable for a family or two couples travelling together. The Edward Suite is also upstairs for 2 people with own sitting room.

There is also a lounge room for your use, which contains a television, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit and a decanter of port or sherry. Pamper yourselves on a winter's night around the log fire. There is a variety of videos, DVD"s, books and games for your enjoyment. The house is licensed and we have a good selection of Tasmanian and North Island wines, beers and soft drinks.

We serve a hearty country breakfast which consists of a selection of cereals, fresh and stewed fruits and yoghurt. A choice from the menu includes eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, and tomato, spaghetti, baked beans and pancakes, a variety of omelettes or perhaps eggs flamenco, the choice is yours. This is all served with toast, homemade jams and a great selection of teas or plunger coffee. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst taking in a spectacular view & great company.


Hanlon House is a smoke free home where laundry facilities are also available. Guests are made afternoon tea on arrival, consisting of scones, jam and cream or a selection of Tasmanian cheeses. A two or three course meal is also available most evenings if desired with a good selection of wine and beverages. Meals by prior arrangement.
