Beachside Retreat is situated on a private, beach front cattle property, near Stanley, in the north west of Tasmania. Here guests can enjoy first class, contemporary-style accommodation, access to an secluded beach and a private and safe place to unwind.
Activities include collecting wild oysters for breakfast, bird watching, nature walks, beach combing, fishing (own gear required) or swimming in the inlet, tidal lagoons or new property lap pool.
Guests can stay in the:
3 B/R spa lodge for 4 to 5 guests from $248 to $318 per night.
An award-winning ecocabin (2) from $178 to $198 per night.
The luxury studio nature cabin from $258 to $298 per night.
The luxury one bedroom nature cabin with outdoor spa pool from $298 to $348 per night.
The four cabins are for couples only and are situated on the sand dunes overlooking the sea. The 3 B/R lodge is situated adjacent to the homestead and 50 metres from the beach.
Bookings are for a minimum stay of 2 nights.
Disabled facilities and 4WD tours are available.
Tasmanian wines are available for purchase in the accommodation.
Breakfast baskets are $10 per person and need to be ordered beforehand.
4WD tours are run by Chris, your host, into the Tarkine wilderness and National Parks by 7-seater Land Rover Defender. Please book beforehand.
Only 19 guests are accommodated at any one time.
Advance bookings are required.
Facilities are for resident guests only. As this is a working cattle property, day visitors are not permitted onto the property.(Due to public liability)
Stanley is a small fishing village similar to St Ives in Cornwall, where seafood is readily available for purchase. There are also many nearby restaurants.

No refunds will be given for nights cancelled during a stay.

Take the B21 at the Bass Highway/Stanley Highway intersection and we are 2.5kms from this point, on the LHS. The property is well sign posted.
